Fuel Gelling

Fuel pressure gauge is a 6.0's best friend, especially with the weather we have had here lately.
If you know your base line and it's running choppy, you will see a drop in pressure. Once it's gelled it's too late unless you add something like 911 red bottle.
I always tell the kid to double dose below 0*......it's cheap insurance and cheaper than injectors.
What fuel did you put in the tank?
Winter blend or straight #1?
Remember, # 2 starts to cloud already at 32*, and around 15* starts to gel
Choppy idle is a good sign of gelling, yes. Power will seem slightly down as well.
It's not unheard of to get a tank of something that is not blended as stated at the pump.

Well today i dove about a 1/4 out of it and it ran fine most of the day. Until way home, came to a stop bogged almost stalled like it was flooded then cleaned out hug black cloud of smoke never has done that before? No smoke during yesterdays hesitations. I am assuming winter blend as I am in Michigan.
