you would need the accessories obviously, you will need frame mounts for your engine off a truck with a v8 and a radiator along with a flywheel. your harness may plug into the cab I don't know someone will have to let you know that one, obiously you will need the computer as far as your current efi pump working it just might I think they are all about the same but you should again check into that as well if not get a new one of a 302 truck, someting esle to keep in mind. you may expect the HO motor to be a little bit of what you weren't expecting it was meant for a low to mid range rpm to move a car asap that weights a lot less than your f 150 and your truck needs low rpm torque. No real biggie it will move your truck. ha ha. Good luck maybe someone will come by and fill in the blanks I left. Keep us posted sounds like a nice project, how about some pix in your gallery as you go?

Look at the harness where it connects to the firewall on your 4.9 and firewall on the 5.0 mustang do they match up and look the same. I think they are someone on here who did the swap said they did however he went from a truck to a truck your going car to truck, The person who did the swap said he just plugged in the harness and computer and that was it but as mentioned he went truck to truck, they are probably the same but everytime I think something is a swap over there is always something different. I know this probably doesn't help at all just thought I would throw it out there. Good luck
