94 areostar radiator

I have a 94 aerostar 3.0 its just sitting in the garage and I filled the radiator and it keeps losing anti freeze its none of the hoses its not in the enginine oil and the floor is not wet from the heater core cannot figure out were its going it dosent make sense, let it set for a month and pulled it out of the garage nothing on the floor any help would be greatly helpful Thanks East79th

well I don't know that much about the 3.0 but I can guess what is wrong with it. My guess is the one or both of your heads a cracked. I have a Bronco II with a 2.9 that did the same thing about 2 weeks ago. I pulled the engine and took the heads off, found that the head was cracked between the intake and exahust valves. another guess is that maybe you blew a head gasket and it is leaking the water into the cylinders. try to pull the spark plugs and see if one of them looks different than all the others. if that does not help any try starting it and looking at the exahust to see if you can see any white smoke. That is all i can think of.. Good luck

If you have any suspicion that the coolant is leaking into the cylinders, don't try to start it. If you hydro-lock the engine, very bad things will happen. Take the plugs out before cranking it over. Have someone else crank it while you watch from under the hood. If coolant comes out a plug hole, you know where the problem is.
