I put a cheap set under there 2 years ago, still doing fine, mounted them using the existing bumper mount bolts. But a couple months ago I saw an older F250 in the city with the flush mounted ones.. ordered some from Amazon.. same thing as above.. "when it stops raining..."
I want to install some in the center above the license plate where the center lights would go on a DRW. Anyone do this?
Joe T- based on reading the thread(s) about mounting the strip of three red marker lights, I believe that IF you mount something TOO THICK, there will be tailgate interference. This was mentioned in the conversation about mounting the OEM Ford three-light strip vs an aftermarket three-light strip (of different dimensions).
Good luck with your project.
