Got a question?
I am back to work on the truck after finishing a van project. Here is my question- I haveg a 72 F-100 that I swaped the 360 to a 5.0L EFI engine backed by a AOD. The truck used to be a stick and I am having problems shifting gears from the newer automatic steering colum. Is there a linkage from the rod that goes from the colum to the tranny or is it a direct link? Went to the junk yard this weekend and didn't see any automatics in these years. Please help after I get this part figured out hte truck should drive its self.

For a C6/FMX there is a 1 piece rod from the lever on the column to the lever on the tranny. It's got a small bend in it and an adjustable height for the attachment location (basically it's a long bolt with lots of threads).
