2015 4x4 Front Assembly
Is there a reason why a person could not buy the NTN6009LU bearing that ford uses in these hubs and just change the bearing instead of the complete hub assembly? I don't see anyone doing this $60 dollar repair instead of changing the whole assembly. Thanks for any input.

are you talking about the bearing the axle shaft rides on? I just did this while I was in there replacing an axle joint. Bearing is # 6009-2RS-JEM check eBay you can find them cheaper. Get a good set of snap right pliers to remove the lock ring, then it taps out easy.
