Have any of you replaced the factory exhaust tips with aftermarket tips. MBR makes a polished stainless version and Go Rhino makes a black version. I assume you can unbolt the factory tips and bolt on the aftermarket. Forgot: for the 6.7

The OEM exhaust tip is designed to filter back in air to cool the exhaust during a regen. I can’t remember which YouTube video I watched about why the tip is the way it is. Knowing Ford, if you have a future problem with your exhaust system, warranty may be denied for altering the functional tip design.

The two I mentioned have vents like the factory tips. I'm assuming the purpose of the vents is to bring cool air back into the exhaust during regen like the factory tips do.
These are the MBR stainless tips. They slip over the factory pipes. They have cut outs that align with the factory "vents". Some on FTE have used a cut off wheel to shorten the factory pipe for appearance.

Thanks a lot for the pics! So they fit over the factory tips?
