Looking for some advice.
So got an oil change a week ago and has been acting very strange lately, i thought some of it was maybe our -50 wind chills.
So the truck has since been doing things like rough idling and would turn off during idle once. really sluggish accelerating. and once it really warms up its better but not perfect.
The codes i pulled are as follows: P0011 P0012 P0021 P0022 P0300 P0302 P0303 P0304 P0430
I also had replaced all spark plugs and boots a few months ago.
What year? How many miles? 4.6 or 5.4? if a 5.4, is it the 3 valve? Those codes indicate major timing issues. Could be due to the cold + sludge/poor oil circulation, but most likely a blown tensioner causing oil pressure loss, or plugged VCT screens causing oil starvation to the cam phasers. Maybe even a plugged oil pick up screen.
First fix these misfires, after that some of the other codes might go away all by themselves. Even the VVT might be off only because it's trying to compensate for the misfires.
