Those diagnostic codes ARE for a misfire, so start there. When's the last time you checked / changed the spark plugs and spark plug wires? Which engine does your Explorer have? Have you checked anything besides the diagnostic codes? The more information you can provide to the forum, the better the suggestions are likely to be.
