I have a 2019 Latiat CCSB. I purchased a DiamondBack HD cover for it. It is amazing. The HD will allow you to haul 1600 lbs on top of the cover and everything it covered by a lifetime warranty. Easy to install, easy to use and looks great. I get questioins about the finer constantly. Looks great and it waterproof. They have different models available depending upon your needs. Check them out and watch the videos. I went with the LineX coated unit. The coating is guaranteed for 3 years, everything else is covered for a lifetime. It comes with 12 tie downs installed on the bed.
My local shop sells them all and I went in wanting the Bakflip but the horror stories online and then hearing from him the damage they get being sent, I started to look at other brands.
He said if he buys 10- 6 or 7 will have some form of warping, dents, or broken parts. He will have to warranty out and takes a while.
I ended up with with the undercover flex. It feels more robust, sits flush with the bed, is carpeted under the panels, has an additional led light( useless with bed lights in the SDs ), and it’s damn near waterproof. I’ve taken a pressure washer to it and can’t get water in my bed.
When needing removed its 2 thumbscrews and one person can take it off the rails if you need every inch of your bed.
Just installed a BakFlip MX4. My second MX4 and I love it because I still get full bed use and can close the cover with the tailgate open or close the tailgate with the cover closed. Installation is about an hour. The first one they shipped had a little bit of damage, so they shipped another entire unit. Sold the one with a tiny bit of damage on the underside for $500.00 on Craigslist in a day. Great folks to work with at www.realtruck.com. Made me a deal on the purchase and no sales tax if you live in California (Maybe other states too)
Truxedo Pro X15 Low profile, easy to install, rolls up and out of way when towing our fifth wheel. Cleans easy and still looks new after a year on the road.
Bakflip revolver X4 here (the rollup one). Seems to be a lot of negative reviews floating around regarding damage and fit. That was not my singular experience. I installed it on a 2018 250, fits like a glove, zero leakage, perfect cover for my needs. Instructions were a little confusing regarding the rubber pads. It felt like I was shipped the wrong parts, and that I should remove the pads. The instructions made things more confusing, not less. I modified nothing, and installed what they shipped me, and once I tightened everything down - it fit like a glove (even though it appeared that I'd be crooked). My advice if you go this route - install what they send you even if you think they made a mistake. It'll probably work out just fine, and avoid some of the fit issues people may be having
Customer service is terribad - those reviews are accurate. But the cover itself is beautiful.
My very close second choice was a Peragon. Sounds like they have fantastic customer support and a quality product. It has more features as well - like an actual lock, and quick release.
Both products fit my needs of:
1) low to no profile
2) ez full use of the bed
3) no velcro or snaps
4) no blockage of the rear view when fully open
5) no drilling
6) just a plain jane cover to keep the rain off things - no toolboxes or other compartments.
Another consideration - FWIW - Because I use my Ford primarily for towing a travel trailer, I wanted a cover that could be unlatched and folded with a single cable latching system. That way I could open the cover from either side of the bed. With dual latches, as on some covers, you needed to climb over the trailer tongue or walk around the truck to get to the opposite side latch. Unfortunately, I discovered this major inconvenience with my Lund Genesis tri fold, and ended up replacing my dual latch cover. My Undercover Flex cover (as do others) releases with a single cable pull and folds all the way forward allowing full bed access. It is more secure than a soft cover and water resistant (mine does not leak at all).
Edit: FWIW - rear window visibility is often cited as an objection to folding covers that fold up against the cab. When towing an RV there is little to no rear window visibility, so not an issue with me. I can see just fine to rear using my side mirrors, either way.
Looking for a new cover for my new truck when it gets here in the next week.
I currently have the Pace Edwards Jackrabbit on my 2010 and really like it except for the box it rolls up into. A couple of times my wife and I were moving a couch or dresser and had to keep the tailgate down all because of the box. Other than that I love it... it keeps things dry, very secure, etc.

I loved the cable pull on my BakFlips. However, I've had problems with them on the BakFlip G2 I had on my Ram. In one spot (the middle panel) a cable crimp came off requiring the latch assembly to be opened so I can repair it. In a different one, (the panel closest to the cab) the latch assembly separated from the cover, that no amount of riveting or self tapping screws could fix. It was why I was hesitant to go with my BakFlip MX4, but so far, the quality's vastly improved over my experience with my G2.
Went with a Truxedo Lo Pro.
I wanted to go with a hard cover, but didn't like how they either flipped up behind the window or consumed too much box space rolled up. I frequently put a pair of dirt bikes in the back of mine, and needed something that wouldn't be in the way of the front tires and didn't want to have to take the cover off to do it.
Price is right, they are only about $400. Fits well, bed stays dry.
Unfortunately there isn't much security since its a soft top, but I'm not keeping anything valuable in the bed. I don't mind the velcro, It takes all of about a minute to go from rolled up to closed.
If this is ends up being what you choose and you live near Harrisburg pa go to the great outdoor show this weekend. 300 off of a black hd diamondback. So 1599 instead of 1899. Have to be at the show for the discount.
