Made something out of wood that sits on the back floor of a crew cab that is level with the top of the underseat storage box? Easy to put in and remove. Photos would be appreciated.
Not exactly what you are asking for, but may give you some ideas. I have an extended cab and the box I built butts up to the underseat storage. Built out of plywood with kerf bent corners; spray on bed liner; automotive trim around the top lip.
I haven’t, but my dad did in the back of his Dodge, they used it to haul the dogs so they had a level surface to ride on when the pulled their 5th wheel. Used 3/4 plywood and it matched the contours the front seats and back on the seat bottom, the front was supported with 3 short 4x4 posts that went to the floor. That back was supported by the steel brackets at the edges of the storage box under the seat. He carpeted it and had it hinged in the center, went in and out in less than 5 min. Unfortunately they traded up to a motor home and I don’t think he has it anymore.
