I got a nice little surprise from Ford this morning. I walked in to sing the paperwork on my 2019 F350 Platinum and was waiting on the salesman. We had already made a verbal deal so I just had to stop by and sign. I was supposed to sign last night but work got in the way.
I decided to check my email while waiting and an email from Ford dropped in offering me another $2500 cash rebate on top of the current rebates! Saweeeet! Dont know if they do that very often sure made my day.
Man you lucked out didn’t you! Did you do anything extra to try to get more exposure for PCO’s during your buying process?
Nothing that I know of. I’ve been at the dealer multiple times since the beginning of December trying to buy one but never pulled the trigger. I was stubborn and wanted a silver one. Dealt on a couple magnetic ones but backed out. Figured if I’m spending this kind of money I better buy what I really want and not settle.
The only thing I can think of is I’ve been on Ford’s website and built more trucks than you can imagine in the last 2 months.
I got one today as well, but it expires 4/1/19 and there’s no way I’m going to be able to get a truck by then - I’m looking for a loaded super cab which no one has, and ordering one is 12-14 weeks, according to my dealer. Anyone know if a PCO can be extended under any circumstances?

I don't suppose that's transferrable? 😈
Been anxiously hoping I get one before picking my truck up in 2 weeks.
It is a specific offer tied to a customer number (mine), so it is not tranferrable. I have an appointment first thing Monday with the fleet mgr and he’s going to try to get an answer from Ford. I may call Ford’s customer service Monday if he doesn’t figure anything out.
