Reno NV area salvage yards
This may be a long shot, but do any of you know of any salvage yards, or junk yards within about a 100 mile range of Reno, NV that have older vehicles? I'm looking for a source of parts for my 69 F-250. I have posted in the Nevada and Northern California Chapter forums as well. I live about 45 miles north of Reno in California, so some Northwestern CA suggestions are welcome as well. Thanks.

Look towards Chico, try www.row52.com. Also use Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market.
There used to be a huge junkyard east of Sparks with many older cars/trucks.
The Stearman Staggerwing (biplane) scenes from the Walter Matthau flick "Charley Varrick" were filmed there.

Big M Automotive in Williams, the owner specializes in and has 100's of 1960/70's Fords in his yard.
There used to be a huge junkyard east of Sparks with many older cars/trucks.
The Stearman Staggerwing (biplane) scenes from the Walter Mattheu flick "Charley Varrick" were filmed there.
