Multiple door hardware question

1. How do you remove the window crank and doorhandle....i have a crank tool and if you zoom in you can see two tiny holes. Do these punch out?

2. On the outside, the door handle makes the door bolt move just a tiny bit, but the handle on the inside moves the door bolt 100%....i have sprayed lube on it to try to see if that would do anything.

The inside handle is held on by a round pin. It should just tap out with a pin punch.

It sounds like the latch is bound up with dirt or rust, and needs a good cleaning. The inside and outside handles actuate the latch by two separate mechanisms within the latch assembly.

Before you get too rough with the mechanism, or take off the inner handle, try just pushing the inner handle down. It might just be locked from the inside.

Ive worked both handles to the max and lubed them...the outside handle just barely moves the bolt....should i pull the whole unit and try to clean it up? By new ones? Another idea? ...both doors kinda do the same thing
thank you for your response!

Before buying new ones, I would definitely take out the old ones and clean them up. You can try soaking them in kerosene for a couple days. Some guys like to use a 50/50 mixture of acetone and ATF to soak in and kill rust. There are several similar things you can soak them in for rust and gunk removal. Others may be by with their suggestions. Unless they are totally worn out, it's likely they can be saved if all they are is dirty or crusty. I would avoid sandblasting if at all possible. The sand grit will get into the moving parts and can make a bigger mess than you have now, and is really hard to clean out fully.
