2012 center console latch help

I installed a 2012 KR center console in my 2012 ext. Cab f250. The draw back was the latch spring is broken and I ordered a replacement. Now I cant find any information as to how the lid comes apart to install the new latch. There are no bolts or screws the hold the leather top to the plastic under side and I dont want to pry on the plastic or leather and break something I'm not suppose to. Any info on separating the leather lid from the plastic under side is greatly appreciated!

I see what looks like four screws - what are they holding?

if you ordered the spring online, was there an exploding diagram you could go back and look at?

those are the rubber grommets that rest on the center console when shut. Nothing behind them that I saw, also didnt see anything in the exploded diagram showing any bolt or screws holding it but more like pins.

Well here's the answer! I figured it would break or pop off soooooo just keep prying on it haha, it has 8 little metal snap clips holding it in place.

Glad you figured it out and posted the pics; good future reference for others.

Now what’s going to happen is that when you put it back together one snap will break and the lid will rattle for the rest of your ownership.....

Funny you say that, one was missing! Haha but we will see if I develop a rattle.
