Hey folks. I have a 2008 Expedition Eddie Bauer. The lid on my center console (I think that's what you call it-- the compartment between the driver and passenger) no longer stays open on its own. It looks like the spring that is in the hinge area broke. See attached picture. The two pieces poking out can be moved up and down freely. So I think I should just need to replace that part.
Does anyone have a part number for it? And also any tips on replacing it would be helpful. It looks pretty straightforward, but I haven't opened it up yet.
