Water with a low Ph will etch the paint and glass. The minerals in the water actually are acidic. These etchings do not wipe or wash off like regular minel spots.
As for water softeners, my well water is so hard that it takes a large amount of salt to soften. I tried rinsing my truck with a couple buckets of it and wound up with salt residue all over my truck.
Reverse osmosis water is the way to go for washing. Then dry it with a leaf blower. Finsh of the remaining spots with a slightly damp micro fiber cloth.
I got bad water spots from a drive thru car wash that didn’t get dried (can’t remember the circumstances) I had a hard time minimizing them, but the clay bar did the best.

LOL! I thought our 24x24 garage was spacious... Until I filled it up! Maybe another one is in order?
Can one HAVE too much garage??????????! I joke with my brother-in-law (another motor head) all we need is a 6 - 8 car garage with an apartment over it!
I'm another that is envious of those that have designed and built their houses - huge garage would be on my list for-sure...!

Same here...... Believe we will be making space this spring as the kids have outgrown the power wheels and both Harley's will be going bye bye . Traffic has gotten too bad around the area and we just don't ride any more. I had surgery on the right shoulder about 6 years ago and had the right bicep tendon re-attached at the elbow this past Feb and just had the left elbow repaired surgically this past November. Between living in a rural area on 3.5 acres and the grand kids, riding is just not in the cards.

My next house will have a 3 car garage. You can never have too much garage space lol.

Agree, but I'm not moving again unless I absolutely have to. I need to add on to the shed so my truck can be covered, build a pole barn in the back to put the tractor in, ...... It's just time and $$$....
Man, that's beautiful and your truck turned out nice to! LOL
No really, your truck does look really nice. I just had my old Bronco painted last summer "2012 Ford Raptor Molten Orange Pearl". My painter recommended that I have that done to it before I start driving it.
As far as garages go we don't have anything parked completely covered. We have a 30' x 30' shop that is packed with everything except a complete vehicle. The Bronco frame is in there now taking up the only bay I have to work in. If I want to work on my Duly I have to move lot of stuff. Especially if it's going to be an overnight.

I figure that I have one more move left in me. I’ll build one more home, and that will be it. After that, my next move will take place when they take me to the cemetery.

Again nice parking garage and truck!
Thanks Tim! I am definitely glad that I had it done, and would recommend it for that nice ride you have. I lucked out in finding a shop to do mine where the owner really has high standards and cares about his work. One of the best things to come out of this was not only getting a good job done on my truck, but I actually made a new friend at the same time.
When I planned my current home, my goal was to keep the garage solely for the purpose of housing the vehicles. I can’t stand trying to walk around in a crowded garage while trying to get to and in/out of a vehicle.
