Mine is a '79 with a 305. Gutless doesn't even begin to describe that thing. I think it is 140 HP if I remember correctly.

I learned on a '73 Chevy 3 on the tree. Then shortly after, my dad really impressed me and came home with a '76 F-150 4x4.

I didn't get my 1st 4x4 until my 1985 which I got in 1991. Living where we do, throwing chains on those old 2 wheel drives was common. Dad kept up the 2 wheel drive habit until his current truck which is a 2004. He finally gave in and decided he was too old to deal with chains.

My first was a blue 1966 Plymouth Barracuda Slant six auto.
I learned driving a standard in a 62 Ford Van.

First vehicle 1947 Dodge pickup 6 cyl 3 speed floor shift (like a truck four speed), it was my Grandad's I had t give my mother $300 for it so She get a newer car, She went from a 1957 Pymouth to a 1963 Plymouth. My first car was a 1961 Chevy Impala SS 2dr hard top 348 engine. I gave $100 for it and had to buy a battery, starter and replace every freeze plug on the engine, before I could even start and drive it.
