Tranny Flush
Hey y'all i recently visited my local ford service center and they said i should have my tranny flushed. I have been told that this was not a good idea from a few people, what do you think?
I am having a few minor prob with it, such as; not going into gear from time-to-time when i don't let it warm up and go after first or second stop (like it is in N) and a little hard shifting.
I have an 86 efi 302 with an AOD tranny. I have changed the fluid before. and fluid level is good???????????

You will get MANY mixed responses to this one but MY personal experience is that I had mine flushed for the 1st time and ended up having to get a rebuild because of it but mine may have been in worse condition than your's is though. When they do the flush, ask them if they can guarantee you won't slip more and I'll bet they can not.
