Good source for bumpers

My F100 has an ugly rear step bumper and a badly mangled chrome front bumper. I'm looking to replace them both and go with new original style chrome "sport" bumpers front and rear. Locating NOS Ford units is probably out of the question, and aftermarket chrome seems to be hit and miss. Anyone have satisfactory experience with aftermarket units, and if so, who did you order from?

The problem you'll find is finding bumper brackets for the rear sport bumpers, there is no aftermarket.

What the hell are you working on? You asked this same question in the 1967/72 forum, saying you have a 1972 Ranger.

Now you're asking this question in the 1973/79 forum, saying you have a F100.

The front bumper is the same, but the rear bumper is not. See my post in your thread in the 1967/72 forum for the particulars.

No such thing as a Sport bumper, FoMoCo never called it that. This is the ridiculous name that LMC calls the Styleside contour REAR bumper.

It's a 72 F100 styleside. My concern was if the existing rear step bumper brackets will work with a chrome rear contour bumper.

Step bumper brackets will not work with a contour rear bumper, as they are completely different.

The following brackets were recently reproduced. Prior years, they were very hard to find.

C4TZ-17787-A Right Inner / C4TZ-17788-A Left Inner / C4TZ-17795-A Right Outer / C4TZ-17796-A Left Outer .. Styleside Contour Rear Bumper Brackets / Reproduced.

1964/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD / 1967/72 F100/250 2WD/4WD & F350.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C4TZ-17906-A Painted & C4TZ-17906-B Chrome .. Styleside Contour Rear Bumpers - Use with 33 1/2" width between the inner frame rails behind the cab / Reproduced

1964/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD / 1967/72 F100/250 2WD/4WD & F350 / 1973/77 F250 4WD (High Boys) / 1973/79 F350 Regular Cabs on the 140" wheelbase.
