For you poor boys with the bad weather in the North and the East here is a little pick-up for you, my peach tree is in bloom in January in San Antonio.

We're busy killing mosquito larva here with subzero temps. Enjoy your peaches and fire ants.

The old monkey face is tucked away in her garage on a battery tender until it warms up here. Supposed to be a balmy 9F tomorrow with a sheet of ice on the roads.

Bill fails to mention that it was 27 degrees here in Central Texas this morning.
Not cold by Canadian standards but not balmy.... They are talking "wintry mix"
for Wednesday morning. That's Texas code for it's not cold enough to snow
& you might see some sleet but not enough to stick to anything...

(My Iris's are blooming as well - a full 2 months early).

My backyard Sunday morning.

My son was at the ER tonight. Nothing serious, he bruised a rib snowboarding. On the way home it was 5 at 1:00am.

9F here in Germany last night, but not that much snow (except in the Alps - they're overloaded with snow) . The truck is safely tucked away in the garage with a bit of heating and humidity-control until spring
