Just wondering what the chrome package actually includes ?
Is it handles and mirrors or is there more to it ?
Thanks
If I remember correctly on mine it was:
Door Handles
Mirrors
Tow Hooks
Different Rims (you guessed it
Chromed)
May have also been a couple of tie downs in the bead that were chromed
Exhaust tip
And I thought the running boards were different, a little wider? but that was in 2017 so that may have changed
I think that's it, I didn't order it but ended up with it, I like it actually.
The only reason I got it was because of the chrome bumpers. Before I bought my truck I almost bought a used 17 w/ painted bumpers. It had a lot of paint chips and in the rust belt, lots of rust. Maybe my tie-downs in the bed are chrome they are covered by the Ford spray in bed liner. King ranch will also get the tailgate satin plate with the chrome package iirc.

The pkg content is listed below. The package dealer invoice (for a Lariat CC) is $1024 and includes step bars that otherwise are a $633 option. So, you just need to decide if the $391 balance is worth it for the “bling”. In our case, because we consider the step bars to be essential, the answer was an easy “yes”.
Chrome tow hooks is why I got it.
The standard tow hooks mar pretty bad when hooking up a strap.
Chrome doesn't do that.
My F250 had black tow hook and I never had any problem with the strap leaving marks. My F350, OTOH, has chrome hooks that have rusted near the base. Not the end of the world, but I really think they could have done a better job with them.
Seems to me there was a time when Ford charged extra for color key mirrors and door handles. At any rate, too much chrome on the truck already, no sense paying to add more IMHO.
The “chrome wheels” are not chrome but some plastic type of coating. My F350 has 25,000 miles and the crap is starting to peel off. To make matters worse the lug nuts are expanded from water getting into the covering and freezing. Those are two items that you would not expect to be problematic on a low mileage truck. Wheels and lug nuts are crap from a company in business for 120 years! My warranty is up so I guess I’m stuck. My next truck won’t be a Ford.
