What makes this a 1937? The front end is from a 1940 Ford Passenger Car. The bed is from gawd only knows what.

The cab might be from a 1937, or might not be. The huge rear fenders look out of place, what they're from, I haven't a clue. Tail lamps are from an early 1960's Mercury.

But that's the spirit of hot rodding---making something better or different just because we can!

That's odd looking for sure, looking a bit too much like a early VW beetle but I've always been a big fan of those bulbous fenders so I might be biased?
