Looking for TufSkinz | 2017-up Ford Super Duty Hood Inserts (Matte Black), can not find them anywhere even on the Tuskinz web site or amazon, any help locating would be appreciated …….thank you in advance...Jim

I went to their website looking for some & see they aren't offering them. Not sure what to put on a black truck anyway but know it won't be chrome.

 

Yeah, disappointed to hear this. I bought a brushed silver set for the tailgate, but didn't get a set yet for the hood. Until they get the licensing deal worked out, guess I'm out of luck.

 

I found these on E-bay "but" I don't know if they are similar (or any good) I used Tufskinz for the tailgate and I'm afraid to mismatch with another product for the hood

There about the same price, might be worth a shot especially not knowing when they'll be available from TufSkinz. Glad I got mine when I did.

Well crap, guess this is what I get for waiting so long. Skeptical about the quality of the other ones that people have found on ebay.

 

I had them on my 2017 and was dissapointede to find out they were not longer available. I order some on ebay and they are THIN not the bubble type I had before. I have not put them on yet in hopes fort Tufskinz to come out again.

 

I had the tuffskins on my last 3, I guess I'm glad I ordered them ordered them before I got my truck last summer, otherwise I'd be out of luck.. I've got the liquid chrome on magnetic on the front and back and they look AWESOME!!
I got chrome inserts on the dash just not the Tuffskin brand, they really make the dash pop also

 

Too bad they couldn't just sell individual letters of a specific size and leave it to the consumer to decide what they want to spell.

 

Most likely the font is trademarked by Ford. Even individual letters would violate the trademark without permission.

 

I had Tufskinz in Liquid Chrome on my 2017. They were awesome. I was really disappointed when I got my 2019 and learned they were currently unavailable. As much as I liked them, I am just as impressed if not more with the Eyecatcher brand my daughters picked out in gloss black for the tailgate (Eyecatcher doesn’t make them for the front). They are solid plastic with beveled edges. Very glossy and being that they come prespaced on a clear sheet, the installation is super fast. After installing my bug shield, I ordered QAA front lettering in a mirror polished stainless steel. They just arrived today, they look amazing, I did peal off the protective top sheet and did see the need to polish the plastic/adhesive left on the polished face, along all the cut edges. This is obviously from the heat from the laser during the manufacturing process. These letters come individually stacked & wrapped on top of each other. Both of these brands are comparably priced, quality products that I would purchase again. Hope this helps with your decision making.
