no 4wheel hi ???????
i have a 460 with a c-6 tranny and borg warner t-case. when shifting in low 4wheel it works great but nothing happens in 4 wheel hi. it feels good when you shift it but nothing happens. any ideas the case has these numbers on it:1345 eota-r

The BW case have a habbit of wearing out Shift forks. The Forks to Shift into 4low will be fine "in your case" and Bad goin to 4Hi or other way around. Your 4Hi Shift Fork Could be wore enough To not allow it to engauge into 4Hi. They ain't hard to rebuild. Just be sure While your in it to either Clean The screen and Oil pump or Go a head and replace them. Because It's a main reason to cause a T/Case Failure.

thanks for the advice. sounds like i need to order a pump, gasket and fork. is a worn shift fork easy to identify once you pull the cover off? can you repair this under the truck or do you have to drop it to replace the forks?

It's best to drop the T/case so you can tear it down and go thru it Much easier. The forks in our was easy yo find because it was mangled. I think it was around $80 a Friend of mine Just paid for a full rebuild kit for his truck. That comes with pretty much everything But the chain. Be sure to Clean all the Grim and muck Out of the case to, That way Nothing for the pump to pick up
