Got the new steering shaft in tonight. Took it for a short drive down the highway, much much better. There was too much traffic to do a sudden lane change or an emergency maneuver. However it just feels much tighter. No more constant correction needed, actually you don’t have to move your hands at all, just hold on to the steering wheel. I’ll need to get used to that. An hour to change it out and the part was $113 from Tasca, money well spent.
