3" block in the back

So I had a ready lift 2.25" level kit on the front......it was fine but put a trailer on the truck squatted.....I just added the 3" block in the back..... I really like the look now...

Nice. Are you still using the factory shocks and how does it ride?

I need to do this, or an add-a-leaf. I also have a 2.25 level. Even when I put only 3-400 lbs in the bed, my truck squats an unaccepctable amount. I’m leaning towads an add-a-leaf and new rear shocks.

Yes still usining the stock shocks....I do think it rides better ...I was gonna do an add a leaf...then I saw an actual ready lift 3" block kit designed to lift the back of the truck an 1.5" you use it when you have the front ready lift 2.25" leveling kit.....there is actually a you tube video......I'm very pleased with it...it brought the back up just enough!..... me and my buddy with his lift did it in about 35 mins ....super easy to do.......take out factory blocks and install the new 3"....... comes with longer U bolts

Thanks 390, that was what I needed to see since I have a 6.5' bed.

I did the front leveling kit early on since the rear was so high when I bought it, over 3". It looks a lot better now, but the rear is only 1/2 higher now and the springs on these trucks are somewhat soft. By being roughly 1.75-2" higher in the rear I'm hoping that I will be level with 800 pounds or so in the bed or while pulling a trailer with a 500 lb tongue weight. Rarely will I have more than 1000 lbs in the bed or pull a trailer with a higher tongue weight.

How tall are the factory blocks, wife drives our 18 STX and I don't want to lift it, would rather lower the rear a inch or two, maybe take the blocks out if it doesn't lower it to much.

Dear Head of F-150 Program Development,

This is how the FX4 package should look on the F-150. Full Stop.

With Respect,
99% of F-150 owners that have the current FX4 package

P.S - Yes, you can charge me more. No, it won’t poach your precious Raptor sales.

It will sit the same height as a 2wd truck.

Mine goes level with about 750 pounds in the bed. I loaded up my Miller bobcat and about 100' of leads and it was level for the most part.

Thanks, good to know. I’d rather do the blocks and keep a smoother ride, vs the add-a-leaf.

I had somewhere around 1900 lbs of flooring in mine, and it was barely out of level. I was impressed. Then again, maybe I was cross eyed...

I've got the same set up - 2.25 Ready Lift in front and 3" blocks in rear. I too think this gives the best stance.
