right now I'm going with stock manifolds because it is pretty tight in there. Truck did not have factory ac but I have everything from the crown vic for the ac. I have plenty of room to make it work and I think I'm going to try and make it work

Hey Rowdy, here's a link from River City's YouTube channel where he covers the A/C. Seems like he used a "Half" kit from Vintage Air along with some of the CV parts.Worked out pretty good. I'll be curious to see whet you do as I'm probably do mine after the summer of 2019. Good luck. ~Pat

So I've done some work on the ac and here's where I'm at. The whole stock system from the vic that goes in the firewall was was too big. I ended up finding a video on YouTube from "the idle garage" and how he cut the fan off and put it inside of the cab. I took his idea and did the same thing with cutting the box and putting the fan inside of the cab. I cut the area on the kick panel and made a plate for the fan motor. I cut the firewall side and I got some sheet metal to make some duct work. Test fit the dash back it and it makes for a pretty clean install. Interior duct work and wiring will be the next hassle to deal with. Site isn't letting me upload photos right now but I'll try again soon.

Here is the photos, just got the metal to do the duct work. I ended up moving the fan down a couple inches from where it sits now too.

That looks like it's gonna come together nicely.

For anyone following I've made a little bit of progress recently. I've been doing a lot of tedious boring things not worth posting. Got the seat frames built and and seats mounted. Had some small rusted areas on the floor so I just cut out the bad spots and made my own patch panels. Patches aren't perfect but they will be covered with dynamat and carpet so I wasnt really worried about it. Started in the center console also. Going to hide all the wiring inside of the console.

I was just wondering, what did the seats come out of? Thanks, Pat

Ford van I think. Local company converts them to handicap vans and sells the seats dirt cheap

Haven't updated this in quite a while but ive been doing a lot of little things recently. Shaved the drip rails on the doors, got a new steering column in and did some work on the center console. Most the time has been spent sanding down to mostly bare metal and prepping for epoxy primer. Hoping to get the cab sprayed inside and out in the next couple weeks as its starting to warm up and get the motor wired with the stand alone harness. Its just been a lot of slow going body work recently

Considering this is the first one I've ever taken all the way down to the frame probably not show quality. The big thing for me is I want to do everything myself including paint. I just want a clean, unique, good driving truck. I'm on month 2 of body work on the cab alone to get it as straight as possible

Did the crown vic front end and used the Ford 8.8 rear end. Bought a universal 4 link kit but didnt like how it mounted to the frame. Made my own 4 link bars and used the stock watts link from the crown vic, just had to shorten the watts link bars.

Is that the Factory stock placement for the coilovers? The spear to be to close together?
It's just what it looks like?
