BeamTech 2018 F150

Anyone running BeamTech LEDs in your 2018 F150 hi/lo/fogs? I like the all in one design but I’m worried about the heat due to the fanless design. I’ve read the heatsink can reach 170-190 degrees and don’t want to melt the housing. I planned on purchasing aftermarket dust covers as well. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you taken a look at Diode Dynamics?

I have a full high/low set in my garage. They wouldn't fit inside the rear opening of the housing once the LED was inserted. Like the base was too large in diameter.
I guess paperweights now, unless someone has ideas.
PayPal and a reasonable price, I'll let them go.

Yes.. I did. Just didn’t want to have to wait 6-8 weeks for them to arrive. I guess I’ll be returning the BeamTechs. Maybe I will look into Diode Dynamics or F150leds.com.

Bummer. Thanks for the heads up. Guess I’ll be returning them.

Well, if you have them, try them first. Not sure which one was difficult, or both. It could have been that the tolerance between the base and housing was that I couldn't get purchase tonturn the bulb to lock in place. I found with the F150LED set I bought after, I may have a messed up casting for the low-beam headlight. The three tabs won't engage correctly with the LED bulbs because the tabs are rigid unlike the spring-loaded tabs on the halogen bulbs. That could have exasperated the Problem.
