When I tapped my blinker on my 2013 F-150 I always got 3 blinks. I got new tires installed yesterday at Fleet Farm and I had them replace one of the tire pressure monitor sensors as well. The new sensor seems to work, but now when I tap my blinker I get 5 blinks and not 3. What is this called? How do I get the 3 blinks back? Is this a DIY thing or do I need to go back to the shop?
OMG!!! You're correct- Thank you. I was dragging a trailer around yesterday and apparently never noticed that before (I don't do a lot of passing or do much 4 lane traveling with lane changes when pulling my trailer). I just went out the garage and tried my truck without the trailer- 3 blinks as I was accustomed to.
FYI, if you do want more flashes, you can change anywhere from 0 flashes to 7 flashes (Add 2 to any of those for trailer being hooked up) via Forscan. I have mine set to 5 without trailer and 7 with.
