Thanks in advanced for all the help im installing a 1969 351w into my 1980 f100 and im looking for shorty headers that will not interfere with my mechanical clutch linkage. Ive researched and researched and cant find any information on this any help would be awesome im trying to find something so I don't have to swap to hydraulic set up and not really wanting to go with stock ones thanks again
I put JBA shorty headers on my '84 351W. I don't think they were listed for the '84 engine, just 86 or so and up trucks but they worked. They had a port that I think was for EGR or other snog connection but I just plugged it. After all, all basic 351Ws are the same, except for accessories

I am just going to throw this out there.
Now the thing is the 84? up trucks have the hyd. clutch.
Now the only way I can see the shorties to work is if they come out in the stock manifold locations to bolt up a Y pipe for an 80-83 truck.
I say this because the AMC Jeep guys ran into this same issue when Edelbrock got out of the shortie header buss.
Every one bought up what they could at half the $$, yes I am one, and had issues when trying to bolt them up.
Now granted we were trying to bolt them into cars, like me, and some cars used Jeep exh. manifolds and why we bought them.
I don't know if they fit yet, been sitting in the trunk for 7 years now, another project.
So just know what you may find on the shortie headers.
