I have just towed my 911 ~2200 miles round trip from Denver out to Virginia City, NV, and back, with my ‘18 Navigator L for the second year in a row without any issues. The trailer is a MaxxD Drop n’ Load on airbags, and is heavy at close to 3,500 lbs by itself, and the car is another ~3500 lbs, so I was pulling over 7,000 lbs with a not-insignificant tongue weight - and it does great. 10.9 mpg average this year.

It does however need more brakes. I’m trying to find a FoMoCo OEM rotor/caliper/pads upgrade in swept area to the tiny rotors that are stock. Going to make a post about this… Surely something in the F150 parts bin can bolt up behind these enormous 22” wheels.

Our '21 FX4 with max tow package, Pulls this 8K pound Cougar 25RDS easily. At 60 to 62 mph it does OK but I try to keep it at that speed. Using a 10K pound Equalizer WDH and running 10 ply BFG AT's . Getting around 9 mpg at 60 mph.
