I have finally pieced together all six pieces of the interior door trim. Previous owner left me with one hole as a reference as to where the trim should be installed. The hole i have, is on the driver side door where the screw goes into the trim and then the door. If someone can please give me the dimension from this screw hole to the center of the bottom piece of trim, I can figure out the rest. I am attaching a picture of the dimension i am looking for. Thanks
I don't see your picture? Whatever dimension you want I can measure on my door. Let me know what you want, I'll measure my door, write the dimensions on the door with a sharpy and take a photo for you.
Both of my doors are 9 5/16" from upper screw hole to centerline of bottom trim piece. Do you have the plastic insert to help, or are you making a custom panel?
Ben:
I don’t have door panels on yet and, if you want, I can make you a paper template of all the holes. It would sure save you a mess of measuring and improve accuracy.
A pattern will help for sure. I know i could figure it out, but the pattern will save me a bunch of time. I will send you an pm and email with my info.
Mine are welded closed.
I do not have a panel. I am installing just the chrome. I am trying to make an almost "correct" truck as you can see from the orange paint, and i think the chrome only will look good enough.
Thanks

Reason: add info
Thanks for all the help. I just started polishing my trim and understand why the question was asked about the panel. For future readers, you need a panel to cover the mounting brackets, I see this now.
Ben: Here's a photo of the template mounted. It will sit in the recess which fits the plastic panel but, since the edges of the recess are not very distinct, there are other landmarks to help you mount it accurately. Instructions are on the sheet, but use the forward edge of the door, the bottom edge of the bolt hole cover, the holes for the regulator and latch link stems. Additionally, you can punch out the location of the mounting screws for the latter, if it will help you get the mounting precisely. You can also note from the photos here and above, which holes are pretty close to the edge of the panel recess. All holes are 1/4".
Good luck....it's in the mail.
James:
You're right!! Thanks for the heads-up. Now I remember, we welded those holes since I was going to go with a full coverage door panel and I didn't want those holes to show. My original intention was to follow the contour below the hinge cover with the door panel, though, that is yet to be seen. Hopefully, Ben can use his trim as a guide to where they will need to be drilled. Got it Ben??
