correct temp
im wondering if i have anything to worry about 95 f150 53000 miles run and looks like showroom condition only thing is my temp gauge runs at 212 all the time around town nomatter how hot it is i guess thats good 210 i assume is good operating temp but when i get on the freeway even in 60 degree weather it runs close to 220 any reason for this and should i be alarmed. i have 265/75/15 tires on it with only 308 gears is this making the engine work to hard.

Dunno...Might be running a tad warm. What stat do you have? Stock is 195 I think. You might have some clogging in your radiator. I'd probably do a good though flush and see if it helps any. Usually, when a radiator starts to become semi clogged, the first notice is overly warm temps on the highway. MK

You should flush and fill the cooling system if you haven't done so in a while. Also change the thermostat and thermostat gasket. Those two pieces are real cheap and good to change every now and then. Stock thermostat is 195 degrees. Also make sure that the radiator is clear of any junk that might be caught in the fins.
