Getting a Rough Country 2" leveling kit and 20X10 Fuel Cleavers and 35" Ridge Grapplers installed Monday. The shop did not mention needing the track bar bracket for the leveling kit, has anybody had to use it with a 2019 truck that was leveled? Sorry tried searching and didn't see anything.
I leveled with a 2.5" Ready Lift kit and did use the supplied track bar bracket. The axle is perfectly centered. Take a look at your truck after thy install the kit and if the axle is shifted left (the left wheels sticks out more than the right wheel) get a new, lower track bar bracket so you can get your axle centered.
It's worth it to use a 2.5" level kit. The 2 will cause more trouble with the fender and bumper contacting the tire.
Centering the axle is a must as well. Most people don't do it. But it rides and steers much better with it. I use adjustable track bars always. More money but u can dial it in perfect.
+1 on Adj tracking bar. It keeps drag link & tracking bar at the same angles as it’s supposed to be.
i hate to see trucks dogwalking with Frt axle shifted to drivers side.
as mentioned you can dial it in dead center.
even if you go back stock OR add more lift later on.
+2 for adjustable. You want the drag link and track bar parallel so your steering doesn't go wonky over bumps in the road. I've done both (bracket and adjustable bar) and I will never do the bracket again. I saw that Rough Country has an affordable option but went with BDS for mine just because the rest of the stuff came from them.
Thanks guys. I'm getting the level kit and wheels and tires installed today. But I did order the adjustable RC track bar and will get that installed next week. All of these death wobble threads have me worried, maybe the new TB will help with that.
I don’t see how guys are having death wobble on newer trucks under 75k miles unless their running big gawdy rough treaded knobby Tires
I don’t know how either, but they are. About a day after I pick mine up, it’s getting Fox 2.0 shocks on all four corners, and the Fox ATS steering stabilzer (when I can get one). It’s a shame to have to replace factory parts the first week of ownership, but this seems to be the fix.
