Red died.......

Was a bit chilly last night 26* and Red refused to start this morning. She has done this in the past a few times years ago and never did it again. I thought it was the tank selector maybe going bad....my truck doesn't have one! Went stem to stern down the driver frame rail and there isn't a fuel selector module/switch......first 460 truck I've owned, all my previous trucks were diesels. Turns out the front and rear tanks are Y'd and each tank has it's own pump with a check valve. I believe my dash switch is going bad and ordered a new one and a new relay, might as well replace it too since I believe it's the original.

Ain't ownin a 28 year old truck great! No need to send it to the dealer for a $500.00 fix....these things are so simple and cheap to keep runnin.

Oh it warmed up to 50* and she started right up......ROFLMAO!!! She don't like the cold

Ford changed the fuel system to each tank with it's own high pressure pump and valves in 1991. Are you sure your truck is a 1990 model year?

Edit: 1990 was the first year.
