I know its been talked about quite a bit, but anyone who has seen light configurations how would you rate them? By this I mean if Halogens are a 100 to start the scale are the Beamtechs a 120 or a 150, the factory leds a 160 or 200 or what in your judgement. I've seen a video and the replacement leds seem way better than Halogens, but I (probably we) would just like to hear some real world experiences. I'm looking at the factory leds, but you have to get the Lariat Ultimate Package and Blis. Don't know if its worth it.
Relatively easy install depending on which engine you have. I've done it a couple ways with a 6.2. Did it twice because I tried a set of Sylvania halogens first. Wasn't happy with that result.
Removed the whole grille the first time. Removed just the filler neck on the washer tank to access the driver side the second time. Second time was obviously easier and faster. Passenger side wasn't much of a problem without removing anything. Maybe a diesel owner could check in and let you know how they go as I know they have 2 batteries.
They do seem to require some effort to twist and pull out. Make sure you have the LED chips oriented to the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions for correct beam placement. Make sure that the factory seals come off and aren't stuck to the headlight housing. You're not getting a new bulb in there with 2 seals.
In for night time driving pictures/vids and which beamtechs are used. Are they all fanless and 6500k?
Id really like the factory led headlights at some point but at 2k its not happening.

With the 6.7 it is a little tight but can be done with just the filler neck removal for the driver side and the intake cowl snaps out with 1 push pin on passenger side. Definitely line the bulbs up at 3 and 9 like ponch said, I just lined the bulbs up at the 3 an 9 position before I inserted and then turned backwards till the bulb slid in, once locked in position the bulbs ended up at 3 and 9 without adjustment.

Of the 3 versions I saw on Amazon, all are 6500k. All are fanless. 2 are 8000 lumens, 1 is 10000 lumens.
There’s a thread on here detailing how. But I have the 6.2 and didn’t have to do anything on the drivers side. On passenger side, remove air intake to get to the top one. For the bottom, get behind the felt liner and you can reach it. Easy
It’s a very substantial improvement. It’s not easy to quantify. I’d say the lighting power is every bit as good as anything I’ve driven. I still don’t love the pattern. I may play with mine a little more.
