I have a 2000 excursion limited, and the gem is malfunctioning. I bought a replacement GEM, with part number YC3T-14B205-CE, which matches the factory unit. I've read that it's recommended to also replace the fuse block that the GEM attaches to, but some idiot scratched the sticker off of mine. Do any of you know what part number I should be looking for, to match the above GEM?
You do not have to, or need to, replace the central junction box with a GEM swap unless the junction box has water in it. Slap the new GEM in and keep on going. I have done this on my truck and others trucks while troubleshooting.

Well no, it's not exactly mandatory, but given the fact that my GEM has been wet (leaky windshield), it stands to reason that the fuse block probably has been as well. I could attack it with a can of contact cleaner, and try to remove any corrosion that may be present, but if my fuse block has been wet, a replacement is really the only realistic option. I'd imagine most 2000 Excursion Limited models with the V10 engine will have the same GEM and fuse block. Just looking for someone else here who has the same GEM in their Excursion to take a look a the sticker with the part number on the fuse block and tell me what the part number is.
