Im putting together an 86 F250 which is missing alot of the interior and steering column. I came across this part. Does anybody know what it is and where it goes?
Any help is appreciated.

Reason: Attachment didnt load
Doesn't look familiar beyond kind of looking like a bendable wire retainer. Is it the photo angle or is the right hole a lot smaller than the left? Where did you find it? Just laying in the truck?
Yes. It was laying on the floor near the steering column. Just looked important because it looks odd to me. Heres another pic. Thanks. I hope its just a retainer. I wasn't sure if it was part of the gear indicator cable assembly.
It looks familiar but I can't say exactly to what... could very well be steering column-related...
Wait, I think I remember... attached to the steering column underneath/behind the dash, I think all it does is provide a place to attach a gray electrical harness connector, possibly a half moon-shaped one.

As you were thinking, it's a bracket under the dash that secures the half-moon connector for the turn signal wiring. The small end has a tang that grips a slot in the connector body. I can't remember exactly where the other end is bolted. I had a picture saved somewhere but can't find it now.
I think you nailed it! I found a pic online. Thank you!
Could I tempt you to share that picture? It’s driving me nuts, trying to remember where that bracket bolted up.
I do remember that barb gave me fits when I replaced my turn signal switch. No matter how I tried, I couldn’t get the connector to release from that bracket. I finally had to unbolt the bracket for access but heck if I can remember where it was attached.
The bracket is secured to the lower (closest to firewall) bolt for the ignition switch. Here's one pic, the auction shows several more. You can see the bracket partially hidden under the turn signal harness:
