Nice truck! I have to admit I prefer the tacoma cream be on the trim, but then most every truck of the same era would look 'the same', and that takes some of the fun away.

That is a very nice truck and it had better be for 59k. Wonder if he will really get that price or close to it. The cost of restorations is getting ridiculous.

did they invert the colors ,seems almost like Tacoma cream on the body.

In late 1944, the War Production Board told the auto makers they could begin assembling trucks for the civilian market, but it wasn't until mid-year 1945 that any were available.

The seller claiming that a special letter from the War Department was required to buy a new truck is "wild mule ****!"

Once the trucks began arriving at dealerships, it was a sellers market, with 'spiffs' in salesmen's pockets to assure the buyer could get a new truck.

Since no new vehicles had been assembled since February 1942, the "sellers market" continued thru 1948.
