Top Loader 4 Speed
I have been on the hunt for a 4 speed top loader and I found one the numbers on it are D7DR-7006-A-A and the case has numbers 2603606 will this work on a 390 FE motor that is a 3 speed top loader now. the seller wants $450. for it .

The TRANS is an extension of the F/4/S. It was modified to have 3rd DIRECT and 4th OD. Depending on what you want to do, there is nothing wrong with the trans series other than you don't want to put it behind a hot street engine.
