Hello we had a pretty good snowstorm here leaving lots of fluffy snow for the drive to work today. I noticed when hitting any decent amount of snow that the lights will dim for 20 seconds or so is this a common issue and is there any fix? Also my wrench light turned on this morning too was in 4x4 and almost felt like it would shift sometimes but don’t think it was tranny doing anything. Any ideas? Thanks

Typically that means the serpentine belt is slipping due to it getting wet. If the belt is old replace it, otherwise the belt tensioner might be weak.
That happens to me when I’m plowing the light fluffy stuff going fast; belt will squeal for a bit until it dries back up, and everything dims a bit. No lasting issues though.
Update. The wrench light was off my whole way home from work. Hooked up my scanner and got it to come on again. Got code P061B internal control module torque calculation performance. Any idea on what this could be related to?
Also is there any plastic on the underside of the bumper that runs back to the engine. Mine is completely open which would explain why I’m getting a lot of snow coming in.
this vehicle is new to me so any help is appreciated thanks oh and it’s got 53000 miles
