V10 with p0357 code

V10 with p0357 code

I have a 2001 , f250,4x4, v10, 5 speed, 360,885k miles, no cat just straight pipe with muffler. I have a p0357 code that I can't find what's causing it. I've had truck at 2 different shops already. Parts that have been replaced as listed
10 coils
10 plugs
ecm
still get no ground signal to #7 coil.
Do you know of anything else I need to look at. I read here one guy change crank shaft sensor and that cleared his codes.
Also the A/C did blow warm air then started blowing cold. Seems like the misfire is coming and going.

Sounds like you have a wiring issue more than anything. Did you also replace the boots when you did the coils?

What he ^^ said. Did anyone ohm out the wire between the PCM and the #7 COP connector?

Yes new boots, wire ohm out good.

I sent the pcm back to get reflashed, should be in tomorrow. The shop said pcm is not sending signal out to coil.

Update:
After getting 2nd PCM in, Truck is running fine. Also changed 6 of the coil connectors that the clips had broken off..
Hope to be hitting 400k miles in the upcoming year.
