Shaking in Overdrive
I’m having quite a few problems with my 96 f250. It has the E40D tranny. At 45-50 in overdrive at low rpms the truck shakes pretty bad and the speedo bounces at 50-60mph but if I shut overdrive off no shaking and speedo goes back to normal. The other day it went into limb mode with od light flashing and hard shifting and check engine light came on as well as the speedo and odometer went dead. I replaced the VSS 3 times before. Any ideas?

I’ll try to pull the codes tomorrow. When I shut the truck off and started back up everything was fine but the Speedo still bounces and the truck still shakes at low rpms in OD
