Never seen one in that configuration. I didn't know they existed. I wonder what console that is. I wouldn't mind replacing my jumpseat with one of those.
i had wondered if FX4 meant ESOF and apparently it does not
also i had looked at the window sticker before they had pictures and it said that it had a console so i was like no way it has a manual lever
then a couple days later they posted the pictures
My guess would be that it is an XL trim which gets the tiny console so that it doesnt effect the location of the lever. I think xl would be the only trin to get that type of console
That truck was a fleet DSO. All of the trucks at work are like that. However the FX4 decals are not correct. I would need a vin to verify. The manual shift with e locker are available options, but you couldn't order a Fx4 package without going for the ESOF. You could have added skid plates as a stand alone. That lower console cubby is available from ford and sometimes see on ebay.

I'm not sure how things are grouped now but "back in the day" the inaugural FX4 package for my 2003 was skid plates, Rancho branded shocks, steering stabilizer, and cool bed stickers.
The ESOF was a separate option or possibly part of a convenience package.

The FX4 package does not include the ESOF. I special ordered my 2015 F-250 with the manual 4x4 shift lever and the FX4 package. The FX4 package included skid plates, Rancho Branded shocks, and Hill Descent control, but did not require or include ESOF.
Like said above you can get the FX4 package with the manual t-case. I was going to go that route when I ordered mine but ended up just getting the skid plates as a stand alone option since the "rancho" shocks are junk and I don't need the hill assist in the flatlands where I live.
