Engine swap

Does anyone know if a 302 or any other ford small block would bolt up to the originals standard trans in my 50 Ford F2 ? It currently has the original flathead straight 6 in it but it is locked up and want to get it running and drive it around while i get the flathead fixed if possible. Any help would be appreciated am hoping I can just throw a running small block in it and get it rolling down the road.

The bellhousing bolt patterns are completely different, so no original equipment parts exist to mate a small block to your original transmission. The aftermarket has produced adapters for decades, though. Be prepared before you open the link - you've gotta pay (dearly) to play.
