With the way things are changing-- things like cell phones will be obsolete in about 10 years or so-- there will be something new-- think of all the advances we have made in the last 50 years-- and how many more we will make in the next 50 (although I'll be dead-- maybe funerals will be more advanced.
I don't think cell phones will be gone in the next 10 years. They have been around since the 80s. It may not look like a cell phone, but it will be the same concept.
Cell companies won't make as much money if you can't lose them, or drop and break them. Cell phones are becoming easier to break all the time. If you have looked at all of the recent cell phone offerings, you may notice that they have a new wrap around screen that folds over the edges. Even Verizon asked me if I carry it in my pocket, and when I responded with yes, they said you should avoid "these models" .
Yes it takes an ultra violet light to loosen the "glue" that holds the screen on--- They will come up with something-- then something to replace that-- then something to replace that---- They always do :-)
I like new technology, but not as much as I used to. I am kind of over a lot of it. Just give me something that works consistently, and is dependable, and has the features that I have to have, not necessarily all the bells and whistles. Cell phone, has internet, email, takes pics, and makes phone calls. the rest is just a waste for me.
Yeah I hear ya-- I spent 3grand to fly to the states to get windows 95--- Now windows 10 has been out for years and I'm like -- Blah what a pain in the **** to load-- I'll wait :-)
