Driveshaft angle/vibration

So I bought this truck with what seems to be a 6” lift. It’s a 2002 f250 with the 7.3. Total block height in the rear is 5.75”. I have a slight vibration/shudder and wanted to ask y’all and show you some pictures before I shim it some more or go the traction bar route. The slight shudder is between prolly 4-7 mph then never returns. My carrier bearing is brand new. Just not sure if the drop bracket that is pictured is stock.....or aftermarket...... Also my two drive shafts are not within the recommended 2 degrees of angle as seen in the angle measurements I took.i measured the angles of the two part drive shaft and they are 5 degrees difference
Check out the pics and let me know y’alls thoughts.

Spicer has a website that explains it, and a video to watch

Spicer Step by Step Guide to Measuring Angles

My thoughts on driveshaft angle are what ever you start with you have to end with to keep everything properly phased

What you have there is all stock components there is no shimming of the carrier bearing. The shims would go between where the metal loop that goes around the carrier bearing itself and where it bolts to what you are refering to as the drop bracket in your last picture. It definitely looks like you need to shim it down. What I found while doing this to a couple different trucks is that you need about twice as much shim then the rule of thumb suggest I believe it’s a 1/4” for every inch of rear lift I found 1/2” to be closer to reality. Your mileage may vary but I’m 2 for 2 in that department. I would go ahead and get a shim kit you will also problaby need longer bolts than they include in the kit if you do infact have a 6” lift. You may also want to post up some more pictures of your rear blocks and springs and maybe a side shot of the truck and what size tires are on it if you want help determining how much lift you have. If not just get a shim kit and go to town.
