This is only curiosity since I’ve read about people’s center caps falling off. My 2017 Platinum doesn’t have center caps so I started looking around and noticed that ford.com only shows wheels with center caps.
What determines if your factory platinum wheel has center caps or not?
Yours doesn’t have center caps? Purchased used? Like they said above, the rear has a full center cap that says Ford and the fronts have the cut out for the locking hub.
They all have center caps, just the ones for the front tires have the opening for AUTO and MAN locking hubs. I had to pop them all out and switch them when rotating the tires.
Nope. I was just curious about what package determined whether you get one piece or center caps and people talk about giving the center caps a good whack before driving off the lot. I’m kind of glad mine don’t have the center caps...1 less thing to fall off.
