Hey Folks,
New to site and Ford Truck family. Out of necessity I just purchased 2019 F350 Platinum 4x4 longbed. Lost my home to Paradise Camp Fire and now living in 43ft 5th wheel. Not looking for sympathy, I am one of the lucky ones. I was able to get all my animals out in time, and have fire insurance.
But I digress. Signed up because I am new to trucks and 5th wheel. I know I needed something to pull my bighorrn 43ft 16K 5th wheel, I looked at Dodge, Chevy's and GMC. We fell in love with the Ford F350 Platinum.
I am using her for daily commuter. She rides a little rough I was looking into purchasing Bilstein 5100 shock upgrade. I called Bilstein and they do not have 2019 shocks that have been tested for Ford 350. Any recommendations to smooth out the ride and help tow the 5th wheel within the same pricerange $500-$600. What's your experience?
